Singapore: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has invited Singaporean investors and business leaders to become partners in the State’s development journey, highlighting the growing opportunities in technology, manufacturing, green energy, logistics and other emerging sectors at the SING Forum 2026.
Addressing representatives of the business community, Sai said Chhattisgarh was moving beyond its traditional image as a mineral-rich State and emerging as a destination for technology, innovation and modern industries.
The Chief Minister said the State government was working to leverage its abundant natural resources along with modern technology to transform Chhattisgarh into one of the country’s leading industrial and investment hubs.
Singapore expertise and Chhattisgarh potential
Sai highlighted the possibilities of combining Singapore’s expertise in technology, urban development and modern infrastructure with Chhattisgarh’s natural resources and industrial potential.
He said the State government was committed to creating an investor-friendly policy environment and extending the necessary support to businesses interested in setting up operations in Chhattisgarh.
Focus on green energy, logistics and technology
Potential cooperation in areas such as technology and professional capability centres, logistics, green energy, industrial infrastructure and urban development figured prominently during the discussions.
Beyond minerals and traditional industries
The Chief Minister said minerals and traditional industries would continue to remain important to Chhattisgarh’s economy, but the State was now expanding its focus towards startups, MSMEs, manufacturing, green energy and technology-driven industries.
He urged Singapore’s business community to explore these opportunities and participate in the development of a modern and economically vibrant Chhattisgarh.
Sai’s Singapore visit is aimed at showcasing Chhattisgarh’s investment potential on a global platform and strengthening economic and technology partnerships with international businesses.
